Universal gives details about its next hotel in documents

Universal Orlando is moving ahead on plans for a new 600-room hotel.

The company filed several documents with the county Friday that gave some details on the hotel, which appears to be named Aventura. It will be on 6 acres southwest of Universal's new Sapphire Falls hotel.

Sapphire Falls, which opened last month, also will have a walkway connecting it to Universal’s Royal Pacific Resort.

The new hotel would have limited meeting space and would not include complimentary unlimited Express Pass access that other upscale Universal properties such as Hard Rock and Portofino Bay have. Guests will get early admission to the theme parks.

Universal now has five hotels with 5,200 rooms. Its owner Comcast Corp. has said it wants to double or triple its number of hotel rooms. Its other on-site hotels include Cabana Bay, which opened in 2014.

Universal is also expected to build lodging on other parcels it owns in the International Drive area including 475 acres it purchased last year near the Orange County Convention Center.

So it can be said that the hotel consists of new innovations and will have a good reception to the public, especially, by the place in which it is located. Opening doors to a large group of workers and making profits.
